We're 95% of the way to 100,000 signatures on our petition, which means we get a ban on driven grouse shooting debated in parliament.

We're hiring a fieldworker to help with some of our projects in Wytham Woods this spring. Wonderful place to work (and live), especially in the spring. Get in touch if you'd like to know more.

When birds of prey try to nest on or near driven grouse moors , they are never safe .

This is the tragic story of a young white-tailed eagle pair .

We must ban driven grouse shooting , add your name at petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700036

Love seeing these images. Look at the size of feet on these!
When Powerful Owls have 2 Owlets, it's always more interesting as you can compare their behaviours, and watching them chasing each other around at night and learning new skills is a lot of fun. This pair from January 2022. Unusually, the adults haven't bred since then.

Ten thousand 🙏 to everyone who has signed our petition to ban driven grouse shooting!

The Govt will now have to respond.

But we're not finished yet - we want a parliamentary debate and for that we need 100,000 signatures.

Can you help us reach our target?

Fossil fuel companies are laughing in our faces , and while the planet burns , they continue to ‘drill baby drill’ and further their exploitation of people and nature .

That's why I'm calling on the UK Government to ban fossil fuel ads outright – sign my petition now at lovera.ge/ban-ffa

I needed some socks 🧦 I ordered some socks. Reasonably priced IMO but why oh why am I forced to pay for next day delivery more than half the price of a pack of socks. I’m happy if they turn up next week I don’t need everything I order tomorrow. 🗓️

One of my favourite raptor books period! What a species, what an environment, what a BOOK!
Blakiston’s fish owls are so large that, as adults, they don’t really have natural predators. I’m aware of only one case of predation, when a Eurasian lynx surprised one along a riverbank while it was concentrating on the water & watching for fish 1/4 🌍🦉

We've just published our latest report: COLLATERAL DAMAGE, highlighting the widespread poisoning of birds of prey in England by the misuse & abuse of rodenticides.

Govt scheme to reduce exposure has failed.
