Before k8s I applied for and got a Facebook offer. It was a difficult choice to turn it down but ultimately the company, even back then, gave me the ick. Actually had Zuch do a sell call. I was unconvinced.

It seems pretty likely that Elon Musk is about to engage on a rash of campaign finance law violations the likes of which we’ve never seen because he has calculated, likely correctly, that he will never face a consequence he can’t afford to pay.

One really easy way to tell if an organization is going to embrace enshittification in its products is to see if everyone in a decision-making position did a stint working at Facebook after they enabled a genocide.
