Bari Weiss is the logical endpoint of corporate media. This is what happens when people who hate journalism are in charge of it. The only way journalism works is when it’s independent from the power it’s supposed to hold to account, which means ownership can’t have anything to do with those in power

I have no faith in our government to do anything regarding gun control. We can’t continue on this path of self destruction. It’s not just mass shootings, look at these ICE agents randomly shooting protesters like it’s normal. I don’t know the answer but it has to come from us, not politicians

I don’t live all that far from Providence and spent many a nights in my younger days enjoying all it had to offer. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the 11 victims of this horrific tragedy. It surprises me how angry I am about this, maybe because it hit close to home.
