I feel like it could be a really smart move for Doctor Who to start looking at potential next show runners. Push to a 12-16 episode season, Davies can outline the big picture story he wants then treat 3-4 writers as show runner for 3-4 episodes each. And Inua Ellams should be one of those

The rebuke of real world fascists in the new Doctor Who might carry more weight if the Doctor didn't have a history of being chummy with Nixon and Churchill and treating Harry Potter like liturgy. If the show can't be honest about itself it undermines what is honest about the world.

I think probably a lot of us are going to have to learn to look at national political and economic developments and be like, "well, that's Babylon for you."

Y'all gotta stop talking as if Luigi Mangione was the guy that killed Brian Thompson. Is he accused of it? Sure. Like his lawyers been saying, though, innocent until proven guilty. Until something's proven beyond a doubt, they've got the wrong guy. There's no reason to trust the cops or Feds
