Thank you! Its Yiddish. Its often associated with the term Doi'kayt which means hereness which is similar to the Palestinian-Arabic concept Sumud. Its about fighting for your place where you are rather than Dorti'kayt ("thereness") which means looking for the solution to your problems elsewhere.
