There was an incident last night! Spot the wee mousie (camouflaged in the stones) escaping at the other side of the gate. I cannot guarantee it got away but I did try to help 🤷🏼‍♀️ Naughty Marty cat!

My map of children's independent bookshops is updated regularly. Most provide an online service and they're all run by people who can make well-informed book recommendations. Make sure you support your local one if you want to keep it. Any missing, please let me know. padlet.com/Jon_Biddle/r...

Why don’t councillors realise why libraries are so important? I’m in one in Aberdeen at the moment. It’s warm - while it’s freezing outside - it’s busy, has lots of interesting new books available, a selection of newspapers, and it’s a community. Which really matters! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Aberdeenshire library campaigners say closures 'not consulted on'
Reasons given for closing the sites included low usage and buildings no longer being suitable.
