Look, I understand the urge to say "I'm autistic and I date and I pay taxes," but that's unintentionally just buying into his argument. We are not the autistic people he is talking about.
Some autistic people CANNOT IN FACT do these things. They also deserve care, protection, and basic dignity.

1) do your job well because the work you do matters.
2) don’t violate the law and give them an easy reason to target you. This includes the Hatch Act.
3) treat coworkers, subordinates, and supervisors kindly- this crap is hurting everyone.
4) take breaks.

Federal workers are important, they work hard.
Like millions of Federal workers, every day we wonder if my husband still has a job and if that job will be worth staying for after his department gets gutted and filled with unqualified loyalists.
This is not making America great. This is looting and destroying America.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.
Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.
But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.
They aren’t firing for a reason.
