All the images are apparent screenshots from an Android phone SMS messenger. The contact name simply says "Unknown Number". Incoming messages are referred to as coming from "Them", outgoing messages are referred to as coming from "You". Them: Hello, I’m sorry, this is going to sound weird but please give me a chance. When you were eighteen, did you have a childhood friend named Carli that you lost contact with after you left to go to college? You: Um, hi? Who the fuck is this? Carli? You: This is an extremely creepy way to get back in touch if so. Them: No, this isn’t Carli.

Hey All: Google is pulling the "automatically on for anyone over 18" bullshit with Gemini that the Dropbox did for its AI, but I can't afford to ditch Google Drive/Docs/Workspace.

If you have a personal Google Account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off...
