This “big, ugly bill” is dangerous and will destroy rural health care. In Kentucky alone, 35 hospitals are under the threat of closing, stripping care from families, cutting jobs and crippling local economies. 1/2

RFK Jr. plans to bar NIH scientists from top journals like NEJM & JAMA, replacing them with government-run outlets.

This would delegitimize taxpayer-funded research, warns Dr. Adam Gaffney of Harvard Medical School.

Medicare for All means Medicare for ALL — not some, or a few, or most.

Health care is a human right.

Every other major country recognizes that.

It's long past time the United States does as well.

Joyce Wolford is alive today because of a cutting-edge NIH study.

Trump officials cut $2.7 BILLION from NIH funding in the first three months of this year.

The American people do not want us to slash lifesaving research to give tax breaks to billionaires.

Illinois Republicans like Rep. Mary Miller, Rep. Mike Bost, and Rep. Darin LaHood just voted to take away health care from 13.7 million people — the majority working people simply without insurance.

Why? All to give Trump’s friends at Mar-a-Lago another tax break. It’s shameful.

Let’s be clear. This isn’t law enforcement. It’s regime enforcement. Charging a sitting Congresswoman for doing her oversight job at an ICE facility is a calculated intimidation tactic. This is how police states are built. Criminalize scrutiny. Punish dissent. Dare others to speak up.
DOJ says it has charged N.J. congresswoman with assaulting law enforcement at ICE facility
The interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey said Rep. LaMonica McIver is accused of “assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement.”

What is happening in Gaza will be a permanent stain on the world's collective conscience.

History will never forget how our government was complicit in enabling and sustaining this ongoing humanitarian disaster.

We must end funding for the Netanyahu war machine.

If Trump is serious about making real change rather than just issuing a press release, he will support legislation I will introduce to ensure we pay no more for prescription drugs than people in other major countries.

If we come together, we can get it passed in a few weeks.

Just FYI because evidently Fox or OAN or whatever is pushing the lie that America accepted the Statue of Liberty and that’s equivalent to the plane.

Congress VOTED to approve receiving the statue. So congress should vote on the jet

The disastrous Republican reconciliation bill would cut Medicaid & the Affordable Care Act by $715 billion – throwing 13.7 million Americans off of Medicaid & the health insurance they currently have – in order to give a $1.2 trillion tax break to the top 1%.

It must be defeated.
