@houlahan.house.gov I appreciate you/your service. Re: the CNN interview this morning, the word schizophrenic was used to describe Hegseth's waffling on 2016 vs 2025 statements. Use of that word is harmful; it perpetuates stigma. Also, schizophrenia involves hallucinations not dual personalities.

The Constitution disagrees. The Emoluments Clause, part of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, bans office holders from taking ANY gifts from foreign countries. There is no mention of quid pro quo. That is because the Founding Fathers knew that even the *appearance* of corruption promotes corruption.
