The affect this big beautiful bill will have on our ability to recruit a diverse group of medical students is scary. Essentially the choice is do HPSP or become shackled with predatory private loans if you are not wealthy enough to foot the cost of med school on your own. Which few ppl are.

This is false. When detained or arrested any lawyer will tell you the best thing you can do for yourself is to shut df up.
As a non-lawyer, things will go much more smoothly if you just answer the questions and give them your devices. If you've done nothing wrong, there's no crime to charge you with. If they want to fabricate charges, they'll do that regardless of what you say.

This is what I think of as a specific kind of ignorance that heavily affects young white guys who work in tech. It says “i don’t know about this, so I assume no one else does either.” It’s new to them, so it must be new to everybody!

I'm not entertained, titilated, or inflamed when Trump says this stuff. Perhaps white people are, but I'm not.
My concern with journalists is the lack of precision. Part of ceding power is surrendering language and allowing meanings to be muddied.

Veterans are part of a lot of DEI initiatives and a lot of folks don’t know that
So many thought they weren’t the subject, confused (fooled, ignorant?) by DEI being used as a stand in for Black.
ANYONE not white and male is included.
