Legends ZA was pretty neat until that stinger cutscene. I personally don’t think offscreen post-credits character death was necessary when having it during the story (if it was really necessary) would’ve been way more impactful, but here we are.

Perhaps getting both the flu and Covid vaccinations and starting tirzepatide as a type 1 all in the same day was not the best decision I could have made.

Wild how I have to keep reminding the people in my classes that I’m an old man who pays taxes and has a car loan (mid-30s) and not their age (early 20s). Can’t even explain it as pre-t babyface because most of them think I’m a girl.

We did a histology lab for physiology today and I forgot how much I legitimately love microscopy!! If I weren’t set on pharmacy school now I’d heavily consider going back to my high school dream of pathology.

Need a way to convince the youths that when I jokingly say things like “chat are we cooked” I’m imagining myself as a streamer addressing the audience and am not alluding to asking the plagiarism robot.

Physio prof mentioned the human genome project today and said most of the class probably wasn’t born until after it was finished, and as someone who was born a few months after it started I shriveled up into a husk and crumbled to dust.

I’ve now been to two of my three labs this semester and it’s frankly terrifying how unprepared the majority of these people are. I last took bio/chem over a decade ago and am still wildly ahead of them in background knowledge. A girl in my chem lab didn’t know how many centimeters are in a meter.

Two shifts left as a 1.0 fte employee before I go to the 0.6 weekend option. Now I’ll probably solely live in the IV room for the rest of my work-based existence instead of occasionally being let out to do other tasks like running deliveries or nonsterile compounding.

Realizing that I never finished the 7.2 msq because I got to the trial, stopped before doing it, then got distracted by the better storyline in the Mamool Ja quests. I’m gonna have to pf or server hop to finish it since I’m on Dynamis.

I’ve never done a Gen Con haul thing before but frankly I think picked up some pretty rad stuff this year. I didn’t book a hotel or do any paid games, so I had more budget for buying things.

I found one single Chuck Tingle novel at a Barnes & Noble yesterday and obviously had to buy it. Read the whole thing in under a day and it’s absolutely rocketed its way towards the top of my favorite books and will be going on my special stuff shelf. Love is so real you guys.

Not me still debating if I want to go to Gen Con this year five days out. I have a full show badge but with my shoulder fucked up and yesterday's insulin pump catastrophe 🤷
Maybe I'll go one day just to hit dice shops in the vendor hall. I really need the Dispel displacer beast stuff........

Work was so slow last night that I put together baby’s first custom mechanical keyboard. Keychron K6 Pro, Akko lavender purple pro switches, and Womier pudding keycaps for now, but I think I want to get a set of Eorzean script and job stone caps now…..
