Every morning I feed the local crows at my library some unsalted peanuts, because I want to befriend a murder and be thought of as a witch by the local children, but I don’t want them to have high blood pressure.

I love Storygraph! Use it all the time at work. 😊
Goodreads is owned by Amazon & there is an AMAZING alternative‼️

The StoryGraph is a black women-owned competitor to GoodReads with better UI in my opinion.
When you sign up you can even transfer your data from Goodreads to StoryGraph!

Speaking as an author: one thing you can do is to contact your local library and ask them to order a book. Quite seriously no pressure on anybody to do anything! Times are hard. There’s too much to do. Just want folks to know that authors appreciate library orders very much.

I want to make videos about historical censorship, current censorship, book banning, book burning, etc. Anybody have a good rec for video editors like Premier Pro and After Effects that don't cost an arm and a leg, and aren't DaVinci Resolve?
