“While women’s rights decline around the globe, the ever-precarious position of women is overshadowed by spectacles such as this spaceflight, as seen just two days later as the UK Supreme Court ruled to exclude trans women from the legal definition of womanhood.”
"Liberal feminism privileges a select few women to, literally in this case, rocket out of the stratosphere and break the glass ceiling, all the while allowing the shards from such a rupture to lacerate the women below them."

For those not aware: an FFL can deny a firearms transfer if the buyer's invoice and/or credit card doesn’t match their government-issued ID. This can throw a wrench in firearms purchases for folks who may be in the middle of a name change or haven't updated all of their documentation yet.

This is, weirdly, the most purely fascist shit anyone in the administration has said so far

- Your health is an asset of the fatherland
- Illness is a failure or a moral failing
- You have a duty to maintain your health
- Healthcare is not a right, it's a finite resource
- Die for the fatherland
Now it's your fault if you get sick?
Dr. Oz: 'It's your patriotic duty to take care of yourself. Healthy people don't consume healthcare resources.'
