I keep going from "this severely impacts my daily life" to "well I'm just a normal abled person" and back and yeah it's great to be able to do things sometimes. But it's also really exhausting

The help that exists in Germany for disabled people, it, well, at least exists and in my experience people make an effort to let me lead what I want that help to look like.
But it absolutely never feels empowering.

I read a policy at work today.
"If #AI is used for safety functions, it must work in a predictable and comprehensible manner. Testing by a notified body is mandatory."
What? We are talking about very heavy laboratory machines.

My Hebrew teacher is such a learned human being, I am in awe. I hope there is a way to become friends.

My escape from having to perform for capitalism is either religion, cooking or tabletop games. So that's probably what you're getting here in most posts

What food to make for Shavuot??

When I can't translate verb forms etc to English or German language learning gets really difficult. Biblical Hebrew has all of the strange verb forms.

Reading about food in space for the tabletop game, didn't think I'd be getting hungry. But Pierogi 🥟

There's such a vast number of ways to pronounce biblical Hebrew. I learned the way it was probably and still is pronounced by people who live/d in what is now Germany.

People shouting on the internet that disabled people don't want to be healed, well I support you in that decision...
But tbh I wouldn't mind not being in pain all day every day

German leftists being against antisemitism sometimes feels like they are just against killing people on a massive scale

Siddur lesson is always after shiur and schacharit and kiddush and with the travel distance and taking the dog out in between, I have never attended that lesson without being in pain 😭

I'm at Hebrew class, but I'm the only one. Searching for the e-mail that could have notified me and finding nothing. Flashbacks to university times 🥲

I think (I think) I have finally mastered the Hebrew alphabet with all marks except for cantillation. One and a half year into studying Hebrew, oh well 😅

Maybe the anger problem with upholding moral standards on the internet is that - people don't usually change suddenly. So one always feels like talking to people who don't change. But maybe they will, in ten weeks. Or never.

Captain,

When we travel through the asteroid belt tomorrow, I recommend we use the phaser banks to demolish rocks as we pass them.

Arguing with people about veganism and keeping kosher online, it's not worth it. I am not opposed to veganism, I eat vegan most days.
Posts get likes as long as they ignite anger. People aren't actually interested in discussion or learning.

I'm gonna lead a *Stars Without Number* tabletop game soon. Never played in that system, but the rule book has me very excited 😆

The world just becomes smaller. Of the places I think of working in, I keep removing countries from that list.

When Christians speak about Judaism it is usually rubbish. Not so my Catholic Hebrew teacher. I'll have to tell him some day.
