It's closer to modern Hebrew, which doesn't mean it *is* modern Hebrew pronunciation.
And then there is the Ashkenazi pronunciation, which I hear quite a bit at shul. Which is just really interesting. I will probably never master that.

It's distinctly different to most online sources by people who live in a country that speaks mostly English. They add some ... distortion to the vowels, which we just don't do.

The astonishment at being leftist **and** somewhat involved in religious stuff. I feel there is a few ways in which we often don't fit well into leftist movements here.
