Pumpkin is snuggling me today. He's still not doing very well. Barely eating. Because of his age, we will not traumatize him with any major medical intervention, but we hope he rallies and stays with us a bit longer. We love this silly (old) baby.

Our elderly kitty, Pumpkin, is ailing. We are working with his vet, but he's not wanting to eat much despite being on meds to calm nausea and increase appetite. The meds are helping. Some. 😞 Meanwhile, the elder girl, Ninja, wants ALL of the treats. The youngest, Beep, is so confused.

The Epstein files released today did not come from the DOJ's Epstein Files. They came from Epstein's estate. Pam Bondi is still protecting Trump at all costs. Today's release by Democrats was aimed at undermining her efforts. And to make it harder for Donald to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.

credit Jim Wright - I gotta tell you, I've never seen anyone work so hard, pull so many strings, call in so many debts, try so many legal (and illegal) tricks, to keep secret the information that proves his innocence. We're about five minutes from swearing in the deciding vote to release the Epstein files and Trump is in full-on panic but even Lauren Boebert is firmly holding, er, I mean holding steady, uh, has a steady grip, on the release. We're coming down to the climax and it's going to be a real squeeze, that's what I'm saying. What? You were thinking it too. Trump is running out of hiding places. My Threads timeline is currently a pitched shitfight on Monkey Island, with both "sides" screaming at me and each other over releasing / not releasing the Epstein files. It's interesting to me how little daylight there is between fanatics no matter how far apart on the political spectrum they allegedly are. One way or the other, things are about to get a lot more interesting.
