We have a long haired boy who, when young, never needed grooming and HATED being brushed. Fortunately, he's got very wiry hair (he was of feral stock) and didn't need brushing. Now he's very elderly and needs help. It's a struggle but he's worth it. 🧡

Exactly. All of his bloodwork is elevated. Not good. However, the only thing to do would be to admit him to ICU where he would be terrified, and there's no guarantee. He's had a very good life. I want his last days, as many good ones as he has left, to be peaceful and spent at home.
