New post where @lausterna.bsky.social and I (again) tie our housing problems to a shortage of housing, with doubling up being the link. And we call for tracking doubling up directly as a measure of housing hardship to avoid some of the pitfalls with our standard affordability metrics.

My people, we need two LIGO sites to prove sources are astrophysical and not, like, a rabbit hopping nearby. ⚛️
NSF budget would close down one of LIGO's sites. This would be, to put it lightly, a catastrophe for gravitational wave astronomy.

So I've launched a new campaign to help feed hungry kids in schools. Regina Food for Learning feeds 1104 kids in schools in Regina. Snackatchewan is selling coupons for $20 that will get you a hot drink and food at a participating local coffee shop. The rest of the money goes to RFFL
