I remember seeing a critique of Rey Skywalker as a character on youtube and one of their first points was that she's a nothing character because the first thing most people would think when summarizing her personality is 'kind' and "that's not a real personality trait". Didn't watch the rest.

If Pokemon really wanted to explore a new direction, they'd make a Pokemon veterinary game. Make players learn to gather supplies, diagnose, and treat weird ailments. Make them travel between PokeCenters to deal with "unusual cases." What kinds of weird illnesses can a Snorlax develop while asleep?
