I am so cooked I was watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood on PlutoTV and I got the urge to skip forward while he was walking from his porch to his door. Luckily it was live tv so I got to sit in my shame while he walked instead.

the best is when you're just looking at mods and you end up downloading fixes for problems you didn't even know were in the game because wow yeah that *does* sound annoying

and before someone jumps down my throat about how I worded that, the alternative is to add "I think" before your statement which clearly marks it as your opinion and doesn't implicitly rope in the people that happen to agree with you.

I think a lot more people conflate fact for opinion than even they think they do because we pretty often talk about opinions on media in objective terms. "This was good/bad." Just because a lot of people think it's true does not mean it is a fact.

No, it's that they're setting a hard rule for megas, which is that they go at the end of the evolution line, no matter how popular or favorable the other forms in that line are. The fact that Pikachu is in Raichu's line is probably the reason it has even one, let alone two whole megas to itself.

yeah I graduated 2009 and I can tell you I didn't read the full books I was assigned either. Often not even for book reports. I think the kids will be just fine without them, provided they are being taught how to read by other means like poetry or creative writing.

I recently ran into a similar issue with note apps. I forget to export my data so when I change phones or need to do a factory reset I lose my notes, which included the records I keep of my migraine attacks. Swapped to physical notebooks and I'm never looking back.
