Many states have passed laws that will revoke the licenses of teachers that use "unapproved pedagogical techniques." That means teachers who try to use scientifically proven methods are basically blacklisted from teaching in public schools. In contast to how states cover up for abusive teachers.

CW for talk about pet death later in the thread, but as someone who worked at an animal shelter a while back I think most pets are better off with a poor person doing their best to care for them than in a shelter.

While they’re still screwing about with SNAP, it’s a good idea to donate to pet shelters, too.

If you dare show up with “poor people shouldn’t have pets”, I will tear such a new one it generates a black hole.

For reasons too complex to explain here, I wrote an Apple II program designed for Early Modern Age Catholics to determine if they're allowed to have sex with their wife, or if it'd be a sin.
