It's currently a little less than 1NM away from the gas interconnector.
Hopefully just a training ex rather than a full blown replay of last year.

Around this time last year, RFA Proteus was shadowing Yantar while it lingered over cables and vitally important gas interconnectors in the Irish Sea, in some not so subtle signalling.
(To be clear, I don't know where Yantar is right now...)

I remember being amazed that Crypto AG was still in business in the 2000's as there appeared to be open & widely reported suspicion of them since at least the 1980s.

RZK Constanta is actually in Belushya Guba - it left Severny on 28 October, same day Yauza arrived in Severny.
It is Teriberka & (possibly) Sabetta in Gribovaya Bay.
I say "possibly" as Sabetta seems more reluctant to use AIS.
Sentinel 1 SAR from today.

Some "Mission Accomplished" choreography.
But it's not entirely wrapped up yet; as the continued presence of RZK Constanta, Yauza and Teriberka attests.

This is a map we did back in June of 2024, of selected AIS tracks.
It's great to see confirmation from journalists.

Teriberka on the way again from Arkhangelsk.
Honestly though, I don't know if they're going to try again or not, we can only wait and see.

And same Landsat pass appears to have caught another aircraft that is airborne, within the Q4385/25 NOTAM zone, adjacent to "Zone C".

Landsat pictured the monitoring aircraft on the ground at Rogachevo Air Base this morning at 08:24 UTC.
Teriberka may be making a return trip to Pankovo from Arkhangelsk.

However, I am not certain if this is from one of the test monitoring aircraft that is currently operating from Rogachevo.
The test monitoring vessels are in position.

Possibly Sabetta, but *very* low confidence.

As you can see, the snow is returning & daytime temperatures are no longer getting over 5C, so I'd say conditions at Pankovo and at sea are fun.
