If you didn’t see the game, watch the genuinely insane leaps of common sense, physics and duty of care that all four officials are fully in agreement in making to class a dynamic, avoidable shoulder direct to the head as a rugby incident.

Angus O’Brien is all of us here. It’s genuinely shameful.

Clayton McMillan is a powerful character both figuratively and literally, so when he speaks… you listen.

Really interesting to get a first chat with the new Munster head coach today.

This was my first Lions tour as a content creator. I was expecting it to be a boom time for my channels and was feeling under pressure. In the end, my views went down… but my earnings went up. Here’s what I learned along the way:

The no jumping over tacklers law exists on safety grounds, to have it not matter based on where on the pitch the player who jumped lands is stupid. It’s dangerous or it isn’t.
Honestly this is the biggest grey area of rugbys innumerous grey areas. Honestly, I don't think anybody knows the right answer for what Sheehan did.

Anybody saying they do is lying

This is from Sam Warburton's book on the Geography 6.
Will be interesting to hear the reaction to Farrell's call ups on this Lions tour when it's all over.
Winning the test series may cover up a lot of stuff but probably not everything. Lose and most of the dirty laundry gets washed in public.

Owen Farrell has played like a drain all season. A classic Andy Farrell call-up in one way, and very likely one that was in the offing for a while. For both of their sakes, class had better be permanent

Tough one to take.

Proper scumbag stuff from the Sharks during that shootout. Garbage people.

Munster went out on their shields. Can't ask anymore.

Apparently, Páirc Uí Chaoimh has been available for well over a decade.

It was being rebuilt ten years ago; reopened July 2017.

It was unavailable to other sports until a year later.

Trust me: I wrote the Examiner article that led to it being opened up.

Interesting comments from McBryde at the Leinster presser about signings. I agree with him.

The writer cites two examples for The Other Provinces: Doug Howlett (signed 18 years ago) and Ruan Pienaar, who Ulster signed because their Irish international scrumhalf Isaac Boss was signed by... Leinster

If Sexton is the attack coach, that'll be his first senior coaching job. British & Irish Lions attack coach after five months of being Ireland's mystery coach.

This is not good.

For a start, it makes the whole thing look like a stitch up. Secondly, will he get the time off work at Ardagh?

Precarious times and a big decision for David Humphries.

I think the reason lazy punditry annoys me so much is that you have people being paid to watch, think and talk about sport, and they still won’t do the work when the work is what you’d do for fun.

This seems like a spooked squad selection after a bitty November; doubling down on Leinster cohesion and veterans to help a stand-in head coach stay at par for a Six Nations that Ireland are expected to win.

I've no issue with starting Prendergast if that is the case. SA can rotate like this all the time.

Putting Jack Crowley up for the media after the last two weeks and then benching him would be proper nasty work, though.

A lot of Irish fans seem to love Ireland being referred to as the best team in the world right up until it means delivering on that hype every year to win the Six Nations, never mind getting to a World Cup semifinal.

Can't figure it out.

Came across this CIA “simple sabotage field manual” from 1944 and tbh these tactics just seem to describe basic procedures in German bureaucracy. Who else can relate ?

I can think of an organisation or two who routinely “haggle over precise wordings” 😉
