Late last night, I joined the Rules Committee to take a stand against Trump’s Big Ugly Bill and call out Republicans’ hypocrisy of claiming to be “pro-life” as they refuse to do anything about gun violence and vote to take away health care from 17 million Americans.

If the bill passes, it will make ICE the nation’s largest jailer, with more funding for prison camps than the entire federal Bureau of Prisons. It would give ICE enough money to have more officers than the entire FBI.
