this is the thing, from top to bottom. we had maybe the best deal any country has had in history. our decline is a series of people voting to throw that away because they cannot understand that it is a good deal
I will go to my deathbed, which god willing will be in like seven decades, absolutely hating these people for their sheer hubris and decadence. We had the world, and they are risking it all because they can't see past the bridge of their nose shoved up their ass
The thing that's astounding is they don't seem to understand how what they're exactly playing at, their cowardice actually increases their personal risk! Their entire being is predicted on the stability and order that they are choosing to compromise!

Think I’m going to build my new computer this week. I’ve half-jokingly been calling it an emotional support PC, but it’s honestly good for me to focus on a project. There’s a kernel of truth in that description.

So much of David Lynch's work can be life changing if it catches you at the right moment. The breadth of ideas, the sheer empathy of the man - I don't think there's been a more influential filmmaker in the last fifty years.
