There is always something new and interesting to find on the beach. Normally I find seaweed pretty dull and ugly, but this little piece with its vivid red tips caught my eye.

Freezing cold day on the beach, the biting wind somehow finding its way inside every layer of clothing, but worth it to see the sunset.

As the parent of multiple children who don't like sleep, I can totally relate as well... 🥱
I used to laugh at the "I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread" Bilbo line, but boy do I get it now

I've just finished reading The Wheel of Time. All 14 books complete, and all I can say is: "Wow".

That last battle. Rand's final confrontation with evil. Mat, Perrin, Egwene, Gawyn, Galad, Elayne, Logan, and so many more. How their individual and collective fates played out ❤️💔😢

There's nothing better for the soul than a walk in the woods, followed by a cosy hot chocolate 🌳

Playing with texture again in black and white. This tree stump was a chance find among the dunes during a family walk.

This is the closest I've ever been to a red squirrel. We have quite a few red squirrel woodlands in the area, but it can be quite rare to see them.

I feel lucky to have such beautiful coastline and views so near to where I live and work.

That's the way to do it, son ...
