There is always something new and interesting to find on the beach. Normally I find seaweed pretty dull and ugly, but this little piece with its vivid red tips caught my eye.

This is the closest I've ever been to a red squirrel. We have quite a few red squirrel woodlands in the area, but it can be quite rare to see them.

I feel lucky to have such beautiful coastline and views so near to where I live and work.
