I somehow feel that this remains pertinent.

Difficult to conceive of a more ill-judged decision then the one the Home Office took here. It is an affront to free speech of a kind which is really indistinguishable from what you'd see in a police state.

@davidallengreen.bsky.social any thoughts on law vs lore re: the Supreme Court Equality Act ruling?

It feels like common interpretation of their legal interpretation has more weight than their *actual* interpretation - but IANAL, and don't understand what in/direct effects the Act actually has.

We desperately need to protect the British Media and Press from the far right.

We need:

- The Leveson Enquiry part 2

- An immediate review of lobbying and political donation laws

We hate asking for followers. But we hate fox hunting even more. It’s why we will never be ashamed to ask for support here on BlueSky.

Because the more of us there are the faster we can end this sick pastime.

The right-wing weirdos all coming over to this platform are so fuckin' funny. What was wrong with Twitter? I thought it was everything you wanted. Now you can all be mad and hate everybody together, right? What do you wanna be over here for, huh? You need attention from us that bad?

Hi friends!

I just wanted to give a quick update on The Onion’s purchase of InfoWars, which we can’t wait to relaunch as the dumbest website on the internet.

The long and short of it: We won the auction and — you're not going to believe this — the previous InfoWars folks aren't taking it well.

Braverman's ludicrous rant tonight: "to do this (we) must exclude all avenues of legal challenge".

Unhinged, dangerous, authoritarian lunacy. What have the @Conservatives - the self-professed "party of law and order" - become?

I always felt that corporate escalation was simply boiling an issue down to become so simplified that people who were too far removed to understand could no longer see the problem.

Execs thus wander off, wondering why they're surrounded by idiots and have to make every decision around here...

I was homeless for a while - sofa surfing, rather than on the streets, but relying on goodwill, outstaying my welcome, running out of friends and no clear way out. Bad landlord, limited income, no magic wand.
