Our work as an exit program is actually fairly casual. We interview potential former far-right extremist / white nationalist clients who then get paired with a peer mentor—usually me.

I have a gash on my thumb where I stabbed myself with a wood chisel... which I usually keep covered, but my band aide came off. I just slammed it into the salt dust covered bag of water softener tablets I was loading... that was a flash of the worst burning stinging pain I have yet experienced.
