This article takes *17 paragraphs* to even mention the privatisation of England's water supply, and even then it does so in an equivocal 'some say' fashion - without mentioning, for example, that England is one of the only countries in the world with privatised water. Excrable journalism as usual.

Just reposting this which I think is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in my career - a critically endangered orange-bellied parrot feeding on a carpet of daisies after an ecological burn. This was the first time they’d had the chance to feed naturally in 15y and was wonderful to witness

This is an era where it’s really important to know your rights and to make sure others around you know their rights,

NO, ICE cannot enter your home without a *judicial* warrant. Not an administrative one like what they were trying to use with the WI judge to arrest someone.

A judge-signed warrant.

Usually, weekends mean listening to jazz music. Yesterday and today, I listened to great jazz guitarists : Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Larry Carlton, Larry Coryell, John Abercrombie, etc. And Emily Remler's double live album, released late last year. Superb collection.
