OU has 26 yards of offense, Missouri chickens out in the redzone and goes for a FG after holding the ball for the entire first quarter, they miss and then the Sooners hit an 87 yard TD

Here's my response to people's fury over OKC's defense, and I broke down why they've been all time dominant for a number of reasons here: youtu.be/pvn54E3vJ1s

It was 39-21 Jazz with 2 minutes left in the first quarter.

In the next 30 minutes of game time it has been 100-56 Thunder. They kicked into HIGH gear. #NBASky

Trump calls Zohran: How’s it going ol buddy? Need me to do anything?

Z: Yea go ahead and tell Mike Johnson you never liked him and that he should leave the House for being so bad on the shutdown.

T: YOU GOT IT!! 🥰🥰

Sigh… I can also write fanfic.

a significant reason Mamdani can get away with this and other Dems can’t is less that he’s charmed Trump and more that he’s charmed you, dear reader, which is why you’re not yelling at him for being a collaborator or an appeaser right now

The good: Zohran Mamdani is currently the Vice President.

The bad: hopefully Mamdani didn’t do anything corrupt to get Trump to act like “NEW BESTIE 😍😍😍😍”

Gee I wonder why they are using an NBA Cup court for this game. 🤔🤔🤔
BYU and Wisconsin playing at 2 pm on the Jazz NBA Cup court is diabolical behavior and I am here for every ounce of it

rebounding so far this NBA season

- Donovan Clingan building a career as an offensive rebounder
- KAT has transformed himself into a defensive rebounding monster with the Knicks
- Duren keeping the Pistons' motor running
- what isn't Jokić good at
- Gary Trent Jr. does not have time for that

Paul George to the Clippers was FAR FAR FAR FAR more significant than Kawhi to the Clippers.
The most important days of the NBA calendar aren’t ones with any games played. They’re the first day of free agency and the trade deadline.

So The Athletic's NBA staff looked back and ranked the most significant deals of the past 25 years.

Do you agree with our top 10?

Here is the federal district court's 2–1 ruling, authored by a very conservative Trump appointee, striking down Texas' new Republican gerrymander on the grounds that it unlawfully discriminates against racial minorities. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

They have the best era-adjusted defensive rating going back to the merger (1976-77), almost 10% better than the league average unit. (Last year's defense was seventh-best by the same measurement.) And they're doing it without J-Dub, and occasionally without each of Dort/Holmgren/Caruso. It's insane.

Fun thought via @talkhoops.bsky.social: Oklahoma City could have two lottery picks this season. They own the Clippers' first-round pick (PG13 trade). OKC also owns Utah's, but the Jazz pick is top 8 protected, so it depends on how much Lauri Markkanen lifts this team up the rest of the way.
