Seen a lot of confusion about this story, so I should clarify: it’s talking about recordable Blu-Ray discs, like the blank ones you buy at the store to put your own video on. Sony haven’t stopped manufacturing Blu-ray movies. www.tomshardware.com/pc-component...

Autistic scrupulosity, a case study:
I use Qobuz to buy music in preference to Amazon.
I use Linux on my laptop.
Qobuz has no Linux downloader, so I use qobuz-dl, a tool that allows you to pirate music from Qobuz for free.
I still pay for it, even though I'm literally using the "steal the music" app
