All of the talk about the stock market and tariffs makes it sound like it’s a problem that only affects big companies or rich people who own stocks.

In reality, both groups will survive in some diminished form. On the other hand, a lot of small businesses will be wiped out if it doesn’t end soon.

This is a difficult time in financial markets but the real victims are the countless numbers of faceless small and mid-sized businesses who import from China and are getting vaporized overnight, and the White House would never take their calls.
