The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

my (white, male) coworker spent 46+ hours trying to get AI to make our call schedule for 2026 but it had so many errors it’s unusable. doing by hand took ~8hr. this feels like a parable.

tis the season where i tell all medicare eligible people that literally no physician or medical provider i know would recommend a medicare advantage plan…only to be met with blank stares and the response “but it includes dental”
