Saw someone say he was in his 30s and "too old to make friends," and my fellow dudes... if you make excuses like this then you only have yourself to blame for your own lonliness.
I am 53 and I make new friends all the time. In a huge swath of ages.
Maybe take up a social hobby? Go outside.

During an interview I was asked what is the most misunderstood yokai, and it is definitely tsukumogami.
They have been recast in modern times as somehow embodying Japan's respect for common objects, when originally their story was to demonstrate the primacy of Buddhism over the native Shinto faith

Tsukumogami--Japan's object ghosts--are often misunderstood. Usually, people say they are objects that come to life after a 100 years. In fact, they tell one of the oldest stories of humanity: My God is Better than Your God.
