This is getting close to 150K signatures now. It might not do anything, but it will serve as evidence for the future that the UK government were aware of the opposition of its own people to its complicity in the Israeli genocide on Gaza & the fact that it did nothing to stop it.
I shared the link yesterday, but (UK citizens only please) the Gaza petition to UK parliament is here if you're looking for it; just cracked 76k and the rate at which people are signing is creeping up; currently 4500/hour and only needs 347 signatures every hour for the next 3 days to hit 100k
Petition: Urgently fulfil humanitarian obligations to Gaza
Act to ensure deliverer of fuel, food, aid, life saving services etc. We think this shouldn't be dependant/on condition of Israeli facilitation as the Knesset voted against UNWRA access to Gaza. We th...

For over ten weeks, Israeli forces have blocked food, water and medicine from entering Gaza.

With over two million facing famine and the Netanyahu Government planning to seize all of Gaza, will the PM back a joint plan to recognise Palestine and end this appalling blockade?

"Fietsvlonders" are mobile bike platforms designed to turn a car parking spot into urban bike parking. They’re modular, moveable, and cheap, making it easy to test better use of public space. When car storage gets swapped for bikes, entire streets start to feel different.

Your periodic reminder net zero is a scientific term referring to the balance of anthropogenic emissions and carbon sinks required to stop temperatures spiralling out of control, bringing with them drastically increased risk of food insecurity, catastrophic weather, and civilisation-level disaster.

Gaza is “on brink of catastrophe” as aid runs out and prices soar. Within hours of the ceasefire ending in March, Israel blocked food, fuel, and medicine from entering Gaza. Aid warehouses are now empty. This is collective punishment by any other name. 2 million Palestinians are being starved.

And for those at the back who missed it, the climate in Denmark is pretty similar to Northern England (I.e. climate, average temperature and rainfall are more favourable in Southern England). All it takes is political will and a realisation that cars are required far less than many think.
“Copenhagen reported that 62% of its residents are now commuting to work or school by bike — an increase from 52% in 2015 & 36% in 2012, when the City Council launched a 14-year-plan to improve the quality, safety & comfort of cycling.”
