i missed this thread about hippos and all the science as to *why* they are terrifying murder cows the first time it was around
Additionally, hippos - despite being massive - have almost no fat on them. All of that impressive bulk is muscle.
2% body fat. Compare that to Elephants, which are around 8-10%, or rhinos, which are 10-20%.
The average human is around 20-40%, for reference.

I started to work in inks this month and i cannot stress enough how much i enjoy it! But the fact that it's a traditional medium makes me sad since I can't share the pieces in as high quality as i would like

I sometimes worry I'm not enough of an artist, because I don't get enough commissions ... But I try my best to remind myself that I'm just at the beginning of my journey and I'm focusing on my schoolwork right now, so money isn't something I should focus on too much...
