Last night's biggest surprise was Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, led by Casey Hudson, who directed KOTOR (and Anthem). Exciting news for lots of people... but Lucasfilm says the studio was founded this year, which means that 2030 is an *optimistic* guess. Maybe it'll be a PlayStation 7 game

Nintendo crossed a line. Our findings show, they have the power to retroactively block legally bought physical games from working without updates AND THEY DID SO! Multiple times. Following the introduction of Trojan Horse "game-key card", this is another attack on physical media.

Can confirm that Nintendo disabled offline playability on SW 2 for Super Mario Bros. Wonder's card between firmware 20.1.1 and the current 20.2.0.
Updated one of our European Switches and now the EU card of Wonder won't start either.
Tested several other 1st party titles. No change there.

I've been an admirer of Edge magazine ever since it launched in 1993. It's one of the most beautifully designed game magazines of all time, and has featured some terrific covers over the years. This one is fantastic - Shenmue III, originally published in April 2019.

Apparently, a multiplayer mode has been leaked for Donkey Kong: Bananza! Personally, I’m not surprised. Apparently, the game’s official eShop listing has “TBD” under where it says “Players”. Credit goes to Triistan over on FamiBoards.

OK. Everyone keeps asking about this, so I've tried to find out more: There's still a Greek God of War thing coming out this year, but it's not a remaster collection. It's a new side-story project.
I think that those god of war remaster rumors just jumped the gun a little bit. That stuff will happen closer to this.
