This is the Christmas miracle: Ubisoft copied Activision and it's actually something good! Anno 117: Pax Romana seems to be playable from disc despite download disclaimers on the cover. Installed the PS5 version offline (~ 58 GB) and played until chapter 2 of the campaign so far.

PS addressed the CBOMB when we raised the issue. They are now acting on the detachable disc drive issue. Nintendo finally offers more card sizes. Some physical games were only made due to public demand. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you don't have a voice as customers!

We finally know why Kepler didn't answer our numerous inquiries about the Mirror Edition of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It's the same disc as the launch version. All that's left is to hope for a GOTY edition now. Pic was shared to us by a supporter from Patreon.

Heard big rumors for physical Switch 2 games. Sounds like new card sizes (16 GB & 32 GB) might finally be on the menu. Certainly not this year, and it remains to be seen if/how it will affect prices, margins and the willingness from publishers to release games properly.
