If this passes, 8 Republican senators who were investigated for their involvement in J6 would then be allowed to sue the government. This shouldn’t even be a consideration. This is what happens when Dems cave.
Please reopen this issue on the Senate floor. There is no way in hell any senators who conspired in the January 6 insurrection should benefit with my tax dollars for their possible criminal actions. The complicit DOJ makes this even more likely. Stop this NOW.
