Things are a big mess around Saturn.

A new study has identified 128 more moons around the planet, bringing the total to 274. And a whole group of Saturn's moons seem to be shattered bits from a collision in the (astronomically) recent past. 🧪🔭

My fav thing about this episode w @lmchervinsky.bsky.social and @democracyprof.bsky.social is how they disagree. You can hear their different expertise brought to bear on questions of presidential power and practice, but they offer their distinct perspective respectfully. 🗃️
NEW EPISODE: On January 6th, we turn our focus from Article III to Article II and discuss two recent books on the presidency (with the authors):

MAKING THE PRESIDENCY (by Lindsay Chervinsky) &

THE PRESIDENTS & THE PEOPLE (by Corey Brettschneider)

Sincerely delighted to discover, 45 minutes into this nearly-wordless three-hour documentary about French monks who take vows of silence, that among the reasons they *can* talk is "to make sure the monastery cats know when it's mealtime by making little kitty-calling noises at them."

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

The idea for the paper came to Dr. Woodcock during a lunchtime discussion with Jay Falletta...The two were working on a project about washing machines, which strain Australia’s extremely limited water resources. They were “a little bit bored” by the task, Dr. Woodcock acknowledged.
