They're frankly an acquired taste. Unless you hang out in underground programmer classes in a basement in Paris, there's a chance you've never heard about them. Anyway, they're currently my favourite type of types.

I kinda enjoy developing on a Macbook because the hardware is good and blablabla that but holy shit as soon as I open XCode or try to do anything related to even trying to ship something "natively" to macOS I want to end it (in game).

But do they also support labeled arguments!?
Haven't really thought too hard about this but is there a language out there that supports default parameters, but the default value is based on some of the other parameters to the function?

Code formatters, linters, conventions etc is just a big ploy to make it easier for BIG AI to parse and steal your code!

Do you make errors because of shadowing?

Often, specially with pattern matching I find myself _want_ shadowing. In this branch we should always refer to this inner value, not the outer. Not having shadowing results in having to come up with names and sometimes people are just lazy and append an _.
