One must-see when on the main Chiloé island is the penguin colonies off the coast - both Humboldt & Magellanic. We booked the last available tour (6:15 PM) which is right after they eat, so they're all out & getting ready to rest.

What could possibly make having a traditional 'onces' (Chilean tea time) on the hillside overlooking the Osorno volcano better?

Another great thing about Angelmo is the decidedly chill sea lions that lounge around, basking in the sun and waiting for seafood scraps.
Last time there were so many more, and we got to see a giant one hobble up the boat ramp while local dogs barked at it.
