Meanwhile CDJapan has set their policy for shipments and it does make it quite difficult to move forward. I truly may have to stop buying hard copies of music.

Hm. Looks like I’m actually getting a Goodsmile figure inbound . I am guessing it emerged off a ship right around August 27 but suspecting it might have shipped from China not Japan based on the name of the logistics company used to bring the package for handoff in Miami.

First class tonight. Had fun but one disconnect - this isn’t my first time at grad school and I’m quietly hiding my age as well as less idealistic point of view . It’s wonderful that younger folks want to fix the world . For me I know some of the expressed ideals will have to be tempered.

Ah I forgot to add part one of the High Museum exhibit which featured Ryoji Ikeda’s Dataverse . He also scored the soundscape inside the exhibit. Be careful as there’s strobing light in the opening of this montage of this and other exhibits which included American folk art.

K-pop culture has also increased awareness of Korean art. Went to the High Museum yesterday for an exhibit of Kim ChongHak’s works . Beautifully vibrant, aware of the past, and determined to show Korean work as colorful and passionate. In all my years of going to US museums, this was a highlight.

K-pop culture has also increased awareness of Korean art. Went to the High Museum yesterday for an exhibit of Kim ChongHak’s works . Beautifully vibrant, aware of the past, and determined to show Korean work as colorful and passionate. In all my years of going to US museums, this was a highlight.

ffxiv and Honkai both had livestreams today . Summarizing ffxiv one as “hats” and “Early August” . And HSR as “Phainon gimme” in less than two weeks.
The story in HSR is honestly really good. As for the wrap up for FFXIV DT I guess we will have to see.

A few Fridays ago, went to pick lavender which is in season in June . Saw many dahlias which to me are new as a native midwesterner.
One of the upsides of this weird situation I am in - is being able to go do something like this last minute . The lavender is now dried and turned into sachets.

Been slowly unfollowing all current events/news posts and putting them in a list to be pinned on my Sky account just so I can focus down more quickly on people I actually know on my "only posts" tab. I was finding myself just not tuning in at all on sky because it's starting to feel less relevant.
