i haven’t really outed myself as old yet lololol . we will see . most people are in simple survival mode this week and trying to understand a new school .

The median age in this program is 30. But they said about half are out of undergrad.Its not unexpected with this kind of program but you can bet I’m looking around at orientation to see who looks older than me . XD I’m pretty sure i’m older than two of my professors too

In this case about half are fresh out of university ! They’re young enough to be my children . It’s too funny and weird for me

I say this as I watch former CDC colleagues face the end of their career. There is a lot of movement going on with these illegal terminations . Given how traumatized many are with last weeks shooting at their campus , it’s just hugely cruel what’s happening now.

But it’s ok . It’s the passion of these folks that mean there remains some hope for the future in what is a very bleak landscape for public health and health care.
