Attention everyone. ChemScene officially has the greatest merch I've ever seen. This keychain comes fully equipped with a miniature cat...butthole and balls on FULL display. I'm now only buying my reagents from them whenever possible!!

@bagphos.bsky.social I remember you tweeting a while ago about working up biaryls by dropping them into heptanes & they crash out. Does that work well for a bromobiaryl too?

you can add your name and details on my G-sheet if you want to, you'll find a bunch of ex-chemtwitter people there. You can add your dead bird ID as well if you want if people might search for you that way. On the third tab.

I might not be following the right people (or enough?) because I'm not seeing as much chemsky content on here as the death throes of chemtwitter, so I'm going to try to obnoxiously post papers I read & find interesting! First to come in as much time as it takes me to write the post...

For my inaugural Bluesky post, photos!! Yesterday we hiked over 26km (16ish miles) in the rain with an occasional spot of sunshine in Cumbria. Today we had a spot of tea in Grasmere on the river and it was divine. Took a boat ride on Lake Windamere to Castle Wray. Two busy days!
