I passed two posts very close to each other that basically said "hey don't kill yourself trying to do colors, lighting, and perfect backgrounds for your long webcomic/graphic novel. It doesn't need it and you won't feel so bogged down"

And I feel very called out. Gotta rethink some things 🙃

Old man Prince here, I've been around since Deviantart in 2010; running away and seeking alternate options is a non solution. Time and time again, this has been proven.

I am tired as fuck of being uprooted and estranged when my sole goal as an artist is to build community and share creative joy.

I don't think motivating people to move to other platforms to avoid the stupid censorship rules is a good solution. Quite the opposite. There is NO SAFE space for artists nowadays, if we don't fight back this will only get worse and worse
