if we recognize inflation as real, realistically the argument shouldn't be that companies can't make products cost more but that wages must increase in tandem. Companies must know money is worth less when they raise prices, so they must be held responsible for that in salary allocation

I think it’s really weird how ppl don’t think slice of life genre things are allowed to be popular for what they are. It’s not overhyped maybe the genre is just not for you.

I don’t think anyone who has trashed on the switch for not being as capable as the PlayStation and Xbox can be mad about the price is my main thought lol. Capabilities come at a cost

Do y’all remember when, in 2022-23, American businesses claimed organized retail crime was forcing them to jack up prices? And how that was largely bullshit to justify price gouging?

Cory Booker is about to hit 23 hours on the Senate floor. I'm guessing--and hoping--he's got his eye on Strom Thurmond 's record of 24 hours and 18 minutes on the Civil Rights Act. I found the apology for the party's inaction to be quite moving, and he's drawing attention to issues across the board
