I directed a feature once and continue fighting to do it again.
You need to track down that full-cast audio book next and add a whole new sensory experience.

I remember being so pumped for DS9 when it premiered and really struggling with it. Between the non-starfleet uniforms, the lack of movement, and the general woes of a season 1, I bailed and didn't look back.

A few years ago I gave it a second look and now it's an absolute fave.

You know what, I'm all for it. This is the exact kind of shenanigans the internet was invented for.

And of course, I have plenty of pics with zombies. After DST got the Walking Dead license, I couldn’t stop building my army of the undead. Those guys come in handy all the time. Clearly a top minimate brand if there ever was one.

I’ve even recreated some shots from classic horror movies including two from Silence of the Lambs featuring officially licensed figures.

My favorite thing about minimates, btw, was their penchant for obscure movie properties. Before funko, they were the only ones giving us the goods.

I bought this whole series once from a dollar bin because of a great article from Chris sims’ ISB.

I remember it not being as fun (even in a bad way) than he made it seem.

I tried my hand at a few scary movie poster recreations a few times. Here’s Barbarian and Smile.

Both of those, btw, ought to be in everyone’s Halloween list. Smile seems so dumb, but is one of the scariest franchises out there while Barbarian is pure goofy tension.

And a couple more, this time featuring The Monster, his Bride, and a Creature.

You know, the fun thing about shooting in Black and White is the wholesale cheating you can do with the props and scenery. Like that water is just a sheet of aluminum foil.
